Overview Of Job
This role sits at the intersection of data analysis and marketing decision-making. You will work on Marketing Measurement engagements for large brands, translating messy media and business data into clear, defensible insights.The work is analytical and judgment-heavy. You will analyze data, build and refine regression-based models, apply business logic, and interpret outputs in a way that makes sense for real marketing decisions.This is not a research role and not a pure engineering role. It is about analytical thinking, rigor, and commercial sense.

In Three Months
- Understand data, business context, and KPIs.
- Perform strong EDA and identify data issues early.
- Build basic, correct regression models with proper documentation.
In Six Months
- Independently own end-to-end analysis and modeling.
- Deliver stable, realistic outputs aligned with business logic.
- Translate analysis into clear, actionable insights.
In 12 Months
- Lead complex analyses and guide modelling decisions.
- Improve analytical standards and best practices.
- Act as a trusted thought partner for teams and clients.
Responsibilities Of The Role
Data Understanding & Preparation
- Explore and validate marketing and sales datasets.
- Perform deep exploratory data analysis:
- Understand the brand, category dynamics, KPIs, and constraints before modelling.
Modeling & Analysis
- Work with different modeling frameworks to evaluate media effectiveness.
- Tune and iterate models based on:
- Business rules
- Statistical validity
- Stability and realism of outputs
- Apply strong modelling judgment:
- Variable selection and transformations
- Managing multicollinearity
- Avoiding leakage and proxy variables
- Assess model quality and reject weak or misleading outputs.
Interpretation & Insight- Translate model outputs into business meaning
- Clearly document assumptions, decisions, iterations, and outcomes.
- Turning analysis into recommendations for clients.
What You Will Need
Must-Have
- Experience - 5 to 7 years
- Experience working with imperfect , real-world data.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for analytics:
- pandas, numpy, scikit learn
- Very solid understanding of regression:
- Assumptions and limitations
- Coefficient interpretation
- Error and stability diagnostics
- Strong EDA capability.
- Ability to connect data outputs to real business logic.
- High attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Comfortable challenging numbers when they don't align with reality.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to marketing, media, or growth analytics.
Prior work with MMM or similar attribution / measurement problems.
