Scope & Responsibilities
The Oaktree Diligence & Reporting team is part of the firm's broader Business Development organization. The team aims to be a key component to providing best-in-class service to Oaktree's global clientele. As a member of the Hyderabad-based Diligence & Reporting team, the Diligence Writer / Project Manager will coordinate and craft responses to client inquiries, working closely with other verticals within Business Development as well as other departments within the firm.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing qualitative client reporting (ad hoc and recurring) and ongoing diligence packages, including standard due diligence questionnaires and auxiliary documentation;
- Working with other departments and Subject Matter Experts to select, draft and write accurate and consistent responses to routine or nuanced client requests;
- Ensuring the integrity of internally stored content databases; and
- Identifying and executing on opportunities to build efficiencies through process and technological improvements around routine-based tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8 years professional experience, including approximately 3–5 years of RFP experience in finance, marketing, or legal roles—ideally within an asset management GCC;
- Experience in high volume processes and technology-enabled solutions;
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously;
- Experience in a global environment working with stakeholders across numerous jurisdictions and time zones strongly preferred;
- Familiarity with investment products and services, including a basic understanding of various asset classes and investment strategies; experience in an institutional private fund marketing environment would be an advantage; and
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business management, marketing, communications or other relevant discipline.
