We are seeking an Associate Database Developer to design, implement, and manage robust, scalable, and secure database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining database architecture, ensuring performance optimization, and supporting business-critical applications.

We are seeking an Associate Database Developer to design, implement, and manage robust, scalable, and secure database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining database architecture, ensuring performance optimization, and supporting business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design tables, relationships and constraints for new ERP modules, following SIONIQ SQL naming and design standards.
- Turn functional requirements and UI prototypes into table and column mappings.
- Prepare design documentation for tables and prototypes, so developers can build each screen.
- Write query logic documents for API development: which tables to use, joins, filters, calculations and the business rules behind each screen or report.
- Create ER diagrams (DBML / dbdiagram.io) for each module.
- Work with .NET developers to explain the schema and query logic and help them map it to Entity Framework Code First entities.
- Suggest indexes for high-volume transaction tables.
- Strong basics in RDBMS concepts: normalization (1NF to 3NF), primary and foreign keys, joins, constraints and indexes.
- Good SQL skills: SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY, subqueries, CTEs, DDL and DML.
- Understanding of ER modeling and how to read or draw ER diagrams.
- Logical thinking and the ability to turn a business scenario into a data model.
- Ability to explain logic clearly in writing so developers can build from it.
- Attention to detail and discipline in following naming and documentation standards.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Hands-on practice with SQL Server (academic projects count).
- Basic knowledge of C# / .NET or Entity Framework.
- Python for scripting or automation.
- Familiarity with dbdiagram.io, DBML, Excel or any data-modelling tool.
- Interest in ERP systems, accounting or inventory domains.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. (No backlogs) 2024 and above pass-outs
- Strong academic performance with project/internship experience.
- Agreement Period: 3 Years from the date of joining (including probation).
- Probation Period: 6 Months
- During probation, working days will be 6 days a week.
- After successful completion of probation, regular working days will be 5 days a week.
- Performance Review: Regular assessments during probation for confirmation and future growth planning.
- Salary – 25000 CTC, Net in hand around 18500. Performance variable pay 2500/month (will be released yearly based on performance). Revisions after 1 year.
