Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Associate role located in Mumbai. The Senior Associate will be responsible for managing and executing a range of legal tasks, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing strategic legal counsel, handling negotiations, and representing clients in various legal matters. The role also involves conducting legal research, managing client relationships, overseeing junior associates and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong drafting and reviewing skills for legal documents and contracts
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills
• Experience in providing strategic legal counsel and handling negotiations
• Effective client relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to oversee and mentor junior associates
• Knowledge of corporate matters, financial transactions, dispute resolution, and real estate transactions
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; an advanced degree (LLM) is a plus
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a legal firm or in-house legal department
