Associate Cybersecurity Analyst - Applied Cryptography

This position is for an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst in the Applied Cryptography team who will assist in implementation, maintenance, documenting and support of Visa's Encryption Services, Tokenization management systems, Secure File upload services and Credential management solutions, operating systems, security protocols and native and transparent database protection support. This opportunity will provide ongoing training and growth for the incumbent who desires to continually learn and improve.

Essential Functions

• Assist in the maintenance and support of all Enterprise Encryption Services protecting Data at Rest, Data inflight, and Transaction Data
• Primary duties will be to on board and provide operational support for Data Protection Technologies and Cybersecurity applications such as ProtectApp, ProtectFile, Vormetric Transparent Encryption Agent, Voltage Tokenization Secure Data Appliance, Hashicorp Vault, OPSWAT MetaDefender
• Proactively identify and recommend process improvement to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency and present complex security subjects to internal work groups and projects
• Implement changes and support end-to-end Visa Encryption Services infrastructure
• Support Data Protection requests as per pre-defined set of procedures and within agreed Service Level Agreements
• Resolve Incidents, problem tickets and assist other staff members as needed
• Monitor and troubleshoot Encryption services, Tokenization services, Secure File upload services, Credential management solutions, operating systems, security protocols and providing support, resolutions
• Work with multiple database protection functionalities including Native and Transparent Data Encryption as well as operating systems and file systems
• Ability to train staff and users and promote data security awareness to ensure system security
• Triage issues working with Vendors and Development and engineering resources
• Support requires on call on a weekly rotating basis which includes weekends

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of work experience
• Be a flexible, self-motivated and results-oriented team player with an attention to meeting tight project timelines and schedules
• The ability to build relationships to collaborate effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results
• Familiar with wide range of Data protection technologies, key management systems, Credential management solutions, operating systems, security protocols and native and transparent database protection functionalities
• Cloud security data protection experience is plus
• Understanding and experience with the cryptography fundamentals
