Associate – CSR & Partnerships

About the Role:
The CSR Development Associate at Deshpande Educational Trust is responsible for developing and implementing
strategies to secure financial support for the organization's programs. This role involves managing fundraising campaigns, building relationships with donors and ensuring sustainable revenue streams to advance DET's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute fundraising events, online campaigns, and community drives.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
- Grant Writing & Proposal Development
- Research funding opportunities and draft compelling grant applications.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and reporting standards.
- Donor Engagement & Relationship Management
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with corporate donors (CSR), individual donors and foundations.
- Prepare donor communications, proposals, and impact reports.
- Maintain donor records and fundraising databases.
- Track contributions and prepare regular progress reports for management.
- Work closely with program teams to align fundraising goals with organizational needs.
- Represent the organization at external events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Social Work, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or donor relations (preferred).
- Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Ability to write persuasive proposals and donor reports.
- Knowledge of fundraising tools, CRM software, and digital campaign platforms.
- Passion for social impact and alignment with the organization's mission.
