Associate
Job Description
The Social Impact Associate will lead and support research, monitoring, evaluation, impact assessment, and advisory engagements across the social sector. The role requires a strong understanding of development themes such as education, livelihoods, skilling, healthcare, women empowerment, financial inclusion, climate resilience, and community development. The consultant will be responsible for designing robust research frameworks, conducting data-driven analysis, generating strategic insights, and supporting clients in measuring and enhancing social impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch & Evaluation
- Design and implement impact assessments, baseline studies, endline evaluations, needs assessments, and thematic research studies.
- Develop Theory of Change, Logical Frameworks, evaluation matrices, and KPI frameworks.
- Design quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, sampling frameworks, and data collection tools.
- Conduct data analysis and synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Assess program effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, sustainability, and impact using established evaluation frameworks.
Project Delivery
- Manage end-to-end execution of research and evaluation assignments.
- Coordinate with field agencies, enumerators, and technical experts to ensure high-quality data collection.
- Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and client deliverables.
- Lead stakeholder consultations, KIIs, FGDs, workshops, and client discussions.
Strategic Advisory
- Support CSR strategy, portfolio reviews, program design, and social sector advisory assignments.
- Identify opportunities for program strengthening and improved social outcomes.
- Translate research findings into strategic recommendations for corporates, foundations, and development organizations.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, dashboards, and thought leadership pieces.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and client leadership teams.
- Develop case studies, success stories, and knowledge products.
- Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Work, Sociology, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social sector consulting, impact assessment, monitoring & evaluation, or development research.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, statistical concepts, and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience working with CSR programs, foundations, government initiatives, or development projects.
