Overview
We are looking for a
Associate Creative Directorlevel Motion Designer with a strong focus on
social-first motion design. This role requires someone who can conceptualize and execute high-impact motion work that captures attention in fast-scrolling social environments. You should bring strong motion fundamentals, a deep understanding of social platforms, and the ability to elevate brand storytelling through dynamic, intentional motion.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of social-first motion design assets that are visually compelling and performance-driven
- Design and execute complex transitions and captivating motion systems tailored for social platforms
- Apply strong motion fundamentals, including organic movement, advanced easing, velocity ramps, and nuanced timing
- Translate social best practices into energetic, engaging motion design solutions
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and marketing teams to align motion outputs with brand and campaign goals
- Edit and assemble video and audio content, ensuring high-quality, polished final deliverables
- Maintain consistency in motion style while pushing creative boundaries within brand guidelines
- Review and elevate motion work to ensure it meets senior/ACD-level quality standards
Required Skills
- Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first motion design for large or well-known brands
- Proven expertise in complex transitions, dynamic compositions, and engaging motion storytelling
- Advanced knowledge of easing techniques, velocity ramps, and timing
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and motion design best practices for each
- Experience with video and audio editing tools and workflows
- Ability to think conceptually while executing at a high level of craft
