Responsibilities:
- Estimate Product Cost and Meet the established response time for quotes.
- Record and track the hit rate of quotes Generate alternatives to achieve the target prices by Customers.
- Ensure minimum margins according to each transaction.
- Designing production processes by creating manufacturing plans and manufacturing routings that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Co-Ordinate with Sourcing & Finance team for SAP standard cost updates for operations.
- Conduct time, motion, and process studies using activity analysis, snapshot analysis, work allocation diagrams, and other lean tools and methods.
- Assist in establishing operational methods, routings and work standards using various measurement techniques
- Analyze throughput and labour productivity data to determine plant bottle necks and work with the site to eliminate them.
- Preparing material and equipment lists, cost analysis, and estimated production costs related to the improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree with 2-3 years (or) Diploma with 3-5 Years relevant field experience.
- Hands on experience in process time study.
- Proven track record of leading and driving cost reductions in a manufacturing environment utilizing Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
- Experience in Product costing estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, engineering drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
- Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.
- Experience in SAP ERP systems, MS-Office preferred.
- Exposure to time/methods study techniques preferred
- knowledge of Valve manufacturing, testing and CNC Machining.
- Excellent communication, influencing skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
