Job Description

  • Track and analyze market activity across M&A, exits, and publicmarket readiness to surface emerging themes, strategic shifts, and highpotential investment opportunities.
  • Conduct indepth financial and strategic evaluations of companies, including dealstructure analysis, performance benchmarking, and assessment of business models, growth paths, and capital structures.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models-DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, and other valuation frameworks-to inform investment decisions.
  • Lead sector research to monitor regulatory changes, competitive dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and investor sentiment affecting private and publicmarket outcomes.
  • Support due diligence by reviewing financials, evaluating risks, and synthesizing insights to guide recommendations on valuation, timing, and transaction strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to convert market intelligence into actionable investment strategies that support capital allocation and portfolio decisions.
  • Develop highquality reports and presentations that distill market activity, risks, opportunities, and strategic implications for senior leadership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate - Corporate Development should have:

  • 3-6 years of experience in Corporate Development, Consulting, or Investment Banking.
  • Bachelor's Degree from a Tier 1 college.
  • MBA/Master's Degree and CA is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and research/datamining, paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid grasp of financial concepts, market and business analysis, and familiarity with equityfundraising processes.
  • Experience partnering directly with founders on strategy, fundraising, and investor engagement.
  • Skilled at mapping investor landscapes, driving targeted outreach, and building longterm relationships across funds.
  • Plays a key role in planning and executing portfolio events and broader ecosystem engagements.
