Associate Controllership - CA Fresher

Role & responsibilities

• To ensure correct accounting for Accounts Payable reporting and month end closing and Leased Under IFRS and US GAAP
• Handle internal and external audit requirements and will also ensure compliance with SoX requirements for assigned activities.
• Strengthening the BS review process with more emphasis on aged balances.
• While reviewing transactions, the individual should possess strong understanding in the areas of financial applications and accounting standards.
• Ensuring accuracy of numbers with respect to accounting and analysis
• Expertise in handling large and complex business transactions, high volumes and be able to respond to various stakeholders in short response time.
• To ensure timely payments for Rent vendors from Flipkart Group Entities
• While executing transactions, the individual should possess strong understanding in the areas of DTAA, Financial applications and accounting standards. He will be working with cross functional stakeholders for inputs and reporting requirements.
• Handling new initiates for bringing productivity and efficiency in the process.

Preferred candidate profile

• CA with 0-2 year of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes (preferably in the service/ trading industry)
• Familiarity with accepted accounting principles and their application
• Prior experience of handling AP operations & reporting and e-commerce platform experience is a plus
