Job Description

Department: Client Engagement

Location: New Delhi, India

Compensation: $27,000 - $35,000 / year

Description

Surgo Health is a Public Benefit Corporation building the world's most comprehensive and insightful AI-powered data platform that reveals the why behind people's behaviors. We uncover the unseen drivers of health - people's beliefs, barriers, and behaviors - and transform that intelligence into scalable products that enable healthcare organizations to drive impact, reduce costs, and advance inclusion. From improving clinical trial design to optimizing care delivery and public health strategies, our solutions help decision-makers act on what truly shapes health outcomes. By revealing the human side of healthcare, we're making it more personal, precise, and effective - for everyone.

We are looking for an energetic Associate Consultant, Strategic Client Engagement who can apply critical thinking to a wide range of strategic and programmatic projects, largely in the global public health sector. As an Associate Consultant, Strategic Client Engagement you will be a key part of the team helping to execute these projects and shape the future of how we use GenerativeAI, what types of data we collect, how we collect it, and how we tell our story. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to exercise strong analytical skills, use cutting edge LLMs to solve complex problems, and communicate findings to key decision makers.

What you'll achieve:

  • Develop compelling communications materials and data visualizations for diverse audiences including pitch decks, concept notes, and findings summaries
  • Support project execution including coordination across cross-functional teams, leading the development of surveys and compelling narratives for our clients, overseeing data collection, translating data into actionable insights, and other project management
  • Analyze scientific literature and healthcare landscape to develop compelling proposals and inform recommendations on how Surgo Health's analysis and products can support achievement of client goals, health outcomes, and health equity
  • Support business development efforts by identifying and pursuing opportunities, contributing to proposals, and developing compelling materials to showcase Surgo Health's unique value
  • Coordinate with and manage partners including local implementation data collection partners to ensure project deliverables are executed with high quality and impact

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience within healthcare, consulting, or innovative data-focused public health
  • Previous work using data to understand key challenges and develop solutions
  • Strong project management skills. Has a sense of ownership over project completion and a bias towards action. Is detail oriented, and is a good team player who can work across cross-functional teams
  • Strong critical and strategic thinker with deep intellectual curiosity for what we do
  • Resilient and outcome-focused in managing complex client needs in an ever-changing landscape. You can work with a dynamic range of stakeholders and successfully manage partnerships
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. You can create compelling PPT presentations that synthesize data in a structured, clear, well-formatted way to explain a narrative
Location: India-based, ideally in Delhi NCR but could be flexible.

Travel: Up to 10% travel expected, primarily within India and Sub-Saharan Africa but also to the US
