Job Description

As an Associate Consultant, you will play a vital role in our SAP implementation projects. You will work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications across various modules. We are looking for a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop SAP ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, and conversions.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to SAP best practices.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the functionality and performance of developed components.
  • Provide support and maintenance for existing SAP systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Document and maintain technical specifications and development processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and provide training to junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP modules.
  • Excellent knowledge of ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, ABAP Dictionary, and ABAP Workbench.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Good understanding of database concepts and SQL.
  • Proficiency in SAP development tools such as ABAP Workbench, ADT, and SAP GUI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
