Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Consultant in Gastroenterology, based in New Delhi. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive disorders. The Associate Consultant will collaborate with the Unit HOD to ensure high-quality and evidence-based care, perform endoscopic procedures, and actively participate in multidisciplinary case discussions. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to clinical research initiatives.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Gastroenterology, including the diagnosis and treatment of digestive and liver disorders
  • Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures, such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for clinical decision-making
  • Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with advancements in Gastroenterology
  • Relevant medical qualifications, such as an MD/DNB in Internal Medicine with a specialization in Gastroenterology (DM/DNB Gastroenterology)
  • Experience in a tertiary care hospital or similar healthcare setting is a plus
