Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented ACCA Fresher to join the finance and accounting team. The candidate will assist in accounting, auditing, taxation, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities while gaining practical exposure to international accounting standards and finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Maintain accounting records, ledgers, and documentation
- Assist in statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit activities
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end closing
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS / Ind AS
- Work with accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients for financial data
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Assist in GST, TDS, and taxation-related tasks (India-specific roles) Work on accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, etc.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Understanding of IFRS, auditing, and taxation concepts
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle is an advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and time management skills Industry experience is an advantage, but not mandator
- Willingness to work in shifts (UK, APAC etc.) is a plus
