Responsibilities
1. Point of Contact & Coordination :
- Serve as a key responder to internal communications inquiries, ensuring timely and professional handling
- Use briefing forms and standard processes to address requests efficiently
- Coordinate between teams, following up to ensure timely delivery of communication needs
- Maintain and update communications trackers, ensuring transparency and accountability in requests.
2. Social Media Strategy & Execution :
- Assist in planning, creating, scheduling, and posting content across Instagram,
- Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Maintain social media content calendars and ensure timely publishing of posts
- Track and analyze social media metrics, preparing monthly reports on engagement, reach, and audience growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to align social media content with campaigns, messaging, and organizational goals.
3. Internal Communications & Knowledge Management :
- Support creation and distribution of internal communications, ensuring clarity, relevance, and consistency
- Take ownership of segments of internal newsletters, collaborating with relevant teams for timely delivery.
4. Content Creation & Brand Alignment :
- Design visually appealing and brand-aligned assets, including posts, presentations, event materials, videos, and reports
- Assist in drafting professional written content for internal and external audiences
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns, communications, and engagement strategies
- Provide on-ground support at Antarang events across India, capturing photos, videos, and stories according to brief.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Team Participation :
- Work closely with program, operations, and leadership teams to understand communication needs and deliverables
- Attend team check-ins, reviews, and organization-wide initiatives, embodying Antarang's values of Care, Integrity, and Excellence
- Be flexible in supporting additional communications, field visits, and program/event requirements.
Profile Requisites
- Bachelor's degree in any field; a focus on communications, media, or design is a plus
- 12 years of prior experience or relevant internships in communications, social media, video editing or marketing, preferably within the social impact sector
- Strong proficiency in Canva, Figma and Google Slides; familiarity with Adobe Suite is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; working knowledge of Hindi or Marathi is an advantage
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and independently handle responsibilities
