Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Associate Chief Manager - Project Management, reporting directly to HOD Project Management to join our Project Management team based in Gandhinagar.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Chief Manager with a comprehensive background in managing complex EPC projects across the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, and ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead end-to-end execution of upstream, midstream, and downstream projects (including LNG, refining, and industrial gases) with strong focus on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders while managing procurement, contracting strategies, change management, and project documentation.
- Ensure alignment with safety, quality, and environmental standards through robust monitoring, critical path analysis, and performance metrics.
- Oversee financial aspects including cost estimation, budget control, resource planning, and overall project economics.
- Guide project teams through reviews, reporting, commissioning, shutdowns, and turnarounds while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Total Experience: 20+ years in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon, Refining, LNG, and Industrial Gases projects.
- Extensive experience in managing EPC projects, including feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Expertise in project management processes, interface coordination, contracting, procurement, and change management.
- Strong knowledge of LNG & refining technologies and process engineering.
- Proficiency in project management software: Primavera, SAP, ERP, Navisworks, Smart Plant Review, MS Office Suite, MS Project.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage project economics, risks, and controls effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
B.E. in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
