About The Team
The Category Demand Management team is the engine room of the category. While Category Managers focus on what we sell and who we buy from, the Demand Management team focuses on how we sell it and when it moves. This team sits at the intersection of finance, marketing, supply chain, and revenue, ensuring that our inventory investment translates into market leading growth and high turnover.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Drive & Own Pricing and Planning Charter for the respective BUs to ensure Topline as well as Bottomline targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand category demand requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Monitor and track category sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Drive category planning and provide insights and recommendations based on demand analysis.
- Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights and make data-driven decisions for category demand management
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: PG, UG, B.Tech, M.Tech
- Experience: 1-4 years
- Data Proficiency: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are non-negotiable. Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Must be able to manage multiple senior stakeholders independently
- Communication: High competency in written and verbal communication skills (preparation of business documentation, presenting to senior stakeholders a must)
- Able to work with others in a fast-paced, team environment and to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Result oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can work individually with minimal or no supervision
