Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-driven Associate Business Manager – SEO to lead end-to-end organic growth strategies for performance-focused brands.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise across On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO, with experience in managing high-intent categories where accuracy, compliance sensitivity, and conversion-driven strategies are critical.

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, along with strong ownership of business outcomes and client-facing confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • SEO Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO roadmaps aligned with business KPIs such as leads, conversions, and revenue.
  • Conduct in-depth competitor benchmarking in highly competitive industries.
  • Build keyword strategies across:
    • Product-led landing pages
    • Comparison pages
    • Informational and transactional funnels
    • Tools and calculator-based pages
  • Map keywords based on search intent (Informational / Commercial / Transactional).
  • Create content cluster strategies and pillar page frameworks.
  • Align SEO strategies with performance marketing and conversion goals.
  • On-Page SEO Execution
  • Develop structured keyword lists and detailed SEO briefs.
  • Optimize key on-page elements:
    • Meta titles & descriptions (CTR-focused)
    • Header hierarchy (H1–H6)
    • URL structures
    • Internal linking architecture
    • Breadcrumbs and canonical tags
    • Structured data (FAQ, Article, Product schema)
  • Ensure content aligns with:
    • E-E-A-T principles
    • Accuracy and category sensitivity
    • Clear user intent fulfilment
  • Conduct content audits and gap analysis.
  • Collaborate with UX teams to improve landing page performance.
  • Technical SEO
  • Perform comprehensive technical audits covering:
    • Crawlability & indexation
    • Sitemap & robots.txt optimization
    • Core Web Vitals
    • Mobile-first indexing
    • Redirect management
    • Schema validation
  • Provide source-code level SEO recommendations.
  • Collaborate with development teams for implementation.
  • Monitor and resolve:
    • Crawl errors
    • Index bloat
    • Thin/duplicate content
    • Page speed issues
  • Utilize tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush.
  • Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
  • Develop and execute high-quality backlink strategies.
  • Focus on acquiring contextual and authoritative links.
  • Plan outreach campaigns and content syndication.
  • Monitor backlink health and anchor text distribution.
  • Ensure strict adherence to white-hat SEO practices.
  • Analytics & Performance Reporting
  • Track and analyze:
    • Organic traffic growth
    • Keyword rankings
    • Conversion trends
    • Bounce rates
    • Funnel drop-offs
  • Leverage insights from GA4 and Google Search Console to drive decisions.
  • Prepare structured monthly reports highlighting:
    • Performance improvements
    • Risk areas
    • Actionable next steps
  • Translate SEO performance into business impact and ROI.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Present SEO strategies and performance reports to clients.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with content, paid media, and tech teams.
  • Ensure timely execution of roadmap initiatives.
  • Maintain strong documentation and reporting hygiene.
Must-Have Skills

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SEO.
  • Strong exposure to high-intent, performance-driven categories.
  • Proven experience optimizing product/service landing pages with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of search intent mapping and funnel-based SEO.
  • Working knowledge of schema implementation.
  • Proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience working on large-scale or dynamic websites.
  • Exposure to SEO integrated with Paid Media strategies.
  • Understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) principles.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members.
