Role OverviewWe're seeking a driven Associate Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growth team. You'll be the first point of contact for prospects, responsible for generating qualified leads, nurturing them through outbound and inbound channels, and driving top-of-funnel activity for our portfolio companies.
This role is ideal for someone who's entrepreneurial, curious about AI and SaaS, and eager to grow into a sales or growth leadership position.
Key Responsibilities- Research, identify, and engage potential customers across B2B SaaS verticals (sales tech, healthcare, recruiting, and AI automation).
- Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls) to drive qualified leads.
- Conduct high-quality discovery calls to understand customer pain points and qualify opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with founders and GTM leads to refine messaging, ICPs, and positioning for each product.
- Maintain accurate lead and pipeline data in CRM systems (HubSpot/Clerk/Notion CRM).
- Work with the marketing team to align campaigns, track conversion metrics, and optimize performance.
- Support the creation of personalized outreach sequences and case studies for enterprise clients.
- Continuously learn and iterate—bring feedback from the field to improve product-market fit.
Requirements- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or growth (preferably SaaS or B2B tech).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable with cold outreach and prospect conversations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple outbound sequences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making and pipeline forecasting.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Apollo, or similar).
- Interest in AI, automation, and SaaS business models.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Nice-to-Have- Experience in early-stage startups or venture studios.
- Exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Apollo, Clay) or sales automation tools.
- Understanding of outbound marketing principles and product-led growth funnels.
