Your Team's Impact

The Associate Business Agility Lead is critical in driving the adoption and scaling of agility across the organisation. This role champions a client-centric, product-thinking mindset that focuses on delivering measurable business outcomes. Drawing on a solid foundation in agile values, principles, and practices, the individual supports and guides the implementation of agility at both the team and organisational levels.

This role would require the individual to influence the assigned unit's delivery practices, processes, tools, strategy and work in close partnership with leadership to identify and address challenges, engage cross-functional teams, and enable productivity through outcome-driven metrics. This role builds trusted relationships, proactive communications and drives impact across business areas through the successful execution of defined OKRs aligned to FactSet's strategic goals.

The ideal candidate brings strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience collaborating across leadership levels and navigating complex stakeholder environments. A background in delivering successful outcomes across multiple cross-functional initiatives is essential, along with applying industry best practices in both project management, agile delivery, and AI-augmented transformation

What You'll Do

  • 50% - Ensure Agile teams are practising the core agile values of human interaction, delivering working software, customer collaboration, and responding to change in the following ways:
  • Engages any appropriate cross-functional contributors from initiation to conclusion to design solutions and ensure they remain actively engaged in an understanding the goals and objectives
  • Facilitates team productivity and effectiveness by enabling smooth delivery workflows and establishing measurable indicators of success.
  • Mentor teams toward becoming increasingly self-managed and cross-functional, with fewer dependencies.
  • Foster a team environment which encourages team members to both seek help from within the team and to lean in to help the team achieve sprint/iteration goals
  • Partner with Product Owners to effectively manage the backlog, incorporate customer feedback, and apply user story writing best practices.
  • Supports agile transformation by guiding teams and leaders through change, promoting modern agile ways of working, leveraging AI, and continuously improving delivery outcomes. 25% - Ensure smooth execution of initiatives/projects
  • Develop and manage end-to-end delivery plans for strategic initiatives, incorporating agile planning techniques (e.g., roadmaps, release planning) and traditional project tools, e.g., milestones, timelines, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Proactively identify, assess and report on program/project performance using a combination of agile metrics (velocity, throughput, lead time, cycle time) and traditional KPIs ( schedule, risk), ensuring transparency and timely escalation of issues , risks and mitigation plans
  • Develop trusted relationships with key business stakeholders and partners to effectively deliver on defined outcomes.
  • Scope the identified problems and issues and collaborate to build actionable opportunities

10% Proactively engages with team leadership to communicate progress, issues, and solutions, and articulates the business impact of executed OKRs across relevant areas.

15% - Executes on communications for advancing discoverability of agility programs, offerings, messaging, and change management, leveraging AI tools to build insights and enhance clarity and reach. Maintains up-to-date awareness of current agility and AI-driven best practices through industry thought leaders, publications, conferences, and other relevant channels.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 6 - 8 years relevant experience, preferably working within product/technology teams and with agile teams
  • Ability to gain consensus on cross-functional teams drawing on multiple points of view
  • Demonstrates a client/user-focus with the ability to balance diverse groups, roles, and projects
  • Ability to collaborate productively, and problem-solve effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate in meetings and has clear concise written communication skills.
  • Practical experience with various software development methodologies
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Mastery with one or more Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, Kanban and familiarity with agility at scale
  • Apply adaptable project management competencies to support complex initiatives.
    • Develop high-level project plans, milestone maps, risk logs, and dependency tracking where required.
    • Coordinate multi-team deliverables, especially in programs that span multiple squads or functional groups.
  • Experience supporting teams in navigating AI-enabled productivity tools or insights is a bonus.
