About the Role 

As our Junior Cloud & Software Associate, you will support the stability, deployment, and security of our cloud platform and applications. This is an entry-level position where you will work directly with our deconstructed logic workflows and automated systems. You will be responsible for translating defined technical specifications into reliable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud resources, ensuring zero deviation from our operational Golden Rules.

Primary Responsibilities

• Schema Architecture & Optimization: Manage BigQuery schemas, partitioning, and clustering for performance and cost.
• Lineage & Constraints Governance: Define ED anchors and CDEs to enforce schema constraints and data lineage.
• Real-Time Pipeline Engineering: Build streaming ingestion pipelines (Pub/Sub, Functions, Eventarc) for application logs.
• Isolate & Validate Payloads: Configure DLQs and validation checks to isolate corrupted data.
• Poka-Yoke Build Gates: Implement CI/CD rules and schema compilers to reject invalid migrations.
• Central Dictionary Custodianship: Maintain the Master Data Dictionary and logical taxonomy.
• Compliance & Data Security: Enforce IAM roles, column/row-level security, and regulatory compliance.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Provision infrastructure using Terraform to ensure environment consistency.
• Observability & SLAs: Configure monitoring and alerts to ensure continuous execution meets SLAs.

Technical Skills / Tools

• Data Warehousing: Expertise in BigQuery architecture, partitioning, clustering, and SQL tuning.
• Event-Driven GCP Services: Proficient in Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Eventarc.
• Modeling & Governance: Mastery in data modeling, dictionary governance, and lineage enforcement.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Experience with Terraform for automated provisioning and security.
• CI/CD Automation: Implementing automated pipeline gates, schema compilers, and linter checks.
• Cloud Security: Understanding of IAM, masking, and compliance frameworks.

Selected candidates must successfully complete a mandatory structured onboarding and training program. • This is NOT a senior architect, lead developer, or tech lead position. It is an entry-level, execution-focused role where you will maintain and deploy structured data schemas based on rigorous guidelines.
• This is NOT a subjective, open-ended decision-making role. We build highly automated, strict, rule-based pipelines to eliminate human guesswork.
• This is NOT a software coding, web app, or frontend React/Django engineering position. Your focus is entirely on data engineering, schema registries, and cloud infrastructure.
