Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead Security & ICT discipline projects as Job/Project Leader, ensuring delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects across the group, taking ownership of technical outcomes and client relationships.
  • Review job financial performance with senior leadership and manage resources effectively.
  • Prepare technical specifications and review work/specifications of junior engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct technical and quality reviews, attend design reviews, and ensure adherence to project standards.
  • Undertake site visits as required for project delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide junior engineers and technicians to ensure project success.
  • Support team development through performance reviews and professional guidance.
  • Contribute to technical development initiatives, market sector strategies, and process improvements.
  • Prepare technical and bid proposals, including additional fee proposals, with support from Group Directors.
  • Report on technical, commercial, financial, and people performance to senior leadership.
  • Ensure effective resource planning and financial performance for assigned projects.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors to support business development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in designing security systems in the built environment.
  • Strong expertise in ICT systems, security systems design, and integration in complex projects.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary project environments with leadership responsibility.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
  • Proven experience preparing technical specifications, proposals, and design documentation.
  • Strong project management, resource planning, and financial monitoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of basic coding (C or similar) is desirable.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, ICT, or related discipline.
  • International project exposure will be an added advantage.
