Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Art Director to lead the visual direction of our brand across digital, print, and campaign work. You will conceptualise and execute creative ideas, maintain brand consistency, and collaborate with designers, photographers, writers, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality creative that drives impact.
You will also be expected to leverage AI-powered creative tools to enhance ideation, speed up production workflows, and improve experimentation while ensuring the final output reflects strong craft, originality, and brand taste.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the visual identity and creative standards across all brand touchpoints.
- Lead the design direction for campaigns, brand launches, product visuals, performance ads, social content, packaging, and print assets.
- Translate business and marketing goals into strong visual concepts and high-quality creative executions.
- Collaborate with copywriters and marketing teams to produce cohesive storytelling across channels.
- Develop and present creative concepts, moodboards, style frames, and design systems to internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor graphic designers, illustrators, and freelancers to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Oversee photography, video, and production workflows, including art styling, shoot planning, and post-production review.
- Ensure all creative outputs meet timelines, brand guidelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Stay updated with design trends, tools, and cultural shifts that influence visual communication.
- Use AI tools to accelerate concept development, moodboarding, and creative exploration (e.g., style references, visual directions, rapid mockups).
- Leverage AI for creative variations (ad versions, layout options, colourways, typography experiments) while maintaining brand consistency.
- Collaborate with the team to define ethical AI usage guidelines (copyright safety, brand safety, privacy, originality).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2+years of experience in visual design
- Strong portfolio showcasing brand design, campaigns, digital creatives, and conceptual thinking.
- Excellent command of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Familiarity with AI creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALLE, Adobe Firefly, RunwayML, ChatGPT, etc.) and how to integrate them into workflows.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
- Ability to give clear, creative feedback and raise overall creative quality.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (can sell the creative to stakeholders).
- Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
