Associate Architect - Java

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Associate Java Architect with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS cloud technologies, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise application design. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge along with the ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

The role requires strong experience in system architecture, messaging platforms, design patterns, SOLID principles, and handling large-scale enterprise applications with critical non-functional requirements (NFRs).

Experience Required

• 9+ years of overall software development experience
• 9+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud ecosystem and distributed systems
• Experience in designing enterprise-scale applications and microservices architecture

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
• Define microservices architecture and integration strategies
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design
• Build cloud-native applications using AWS services
• Design event-driven architectures using messaging queues
• Handle non-functional requirements including scalability, security, performance, reliability, and observability
• Apply design patterns and SOLID principles for clean and maintainable code
• Mentor development teams on best engineering and architectural practices
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, DevOps, and engineering teams
• Participate in production issue resolution and performance optimization initiatives
