Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, building, and optimizing basic Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) solutions and Power Automate workflows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into simple business applications
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate (Microsoft Flow) to streamline routine tasks
  • Connect apps and flows to data sources (e.g. Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL databases) to integrate data into solutions
  • Write Power Fx formulas and configure logic rules to implement simple business processes
  • Participate in testing and troubleshooting of Power Platform solutions, applying best-practice QA and acceptance testing frameworks
  • Document developed solutions and assist with user training or support, providing Level 1 help to end users

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field and 35 years of hands-on Power Platform development experience
  • Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with data integration concepts and databases (experience with AzureSQL or Microsoft Dataverse is a plus)
  • Basic proficiency in web technologies (HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON) and REST APIs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint for data management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions, API Management) to extend or integrate apps.
  • Exposure to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Dynamics 365, etc.) and their connectors.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools (for insights into app data) is a plus.
  • Agile development experience and familiarity with DevOps/application lifecycle (ALM) practices.

Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100) or equivalent entry-level certification.
