Medline India is looking for a System Analyst(Junior level), responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting Transportation Management and Logistics systems to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective transportation operations.
Primary job responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs
- Collaborate with developers, QA, infrastructure, and business users
- Support system development, testing, implementation, and deployment activities
- Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and defect resolution
- Provide post-implementation support and system optimization
- Prepare system documentation such as:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Change Request Document (CRD)
- Test Cases
- Serve as an IS point person for addressing issues and enhancements related to the specific product and functional area.
- Configure and support existing TMS systems (Oracle Transport Management, Descartes Route Planner)
RequiredSkills :
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to interpret data, optimize processes, and support operational efficiency
- Understanding of SDLC lifecycle processes and deliverables including Requirements gathering, System & Data analysis, Software Design, Test planning and Execution.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate to functional/technical specifications
- Familiarity with SQL – ability to develop simple to medium queries for analysis purpose
- Strong willingness to learn new systems and technologies
Good to have skills:
- Exposure to enterprise applications (ERP, TMS, CRM, or similar systems) is a plus
- Agile Methodology, working in Squads
Qualifications / Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience: 0-3 years of IT experience as Systems Analyst/Business Analyst
- The ideal candidate will have graduated from a reputed Tier‑1 institution and/ or possess professional experience with leading Tier‑1 organizations.
