Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Support the team in managing governance and compliance aspects of the special projects in the UAE, in coordination with key stakeholders such as SCM, Finance, Legal and HR. The role is critical to ensuring compliance, timely reporting, and effective management of the certification audits, with a strong focus on corporate governance, accurate labor hiring practices, and internal financial controls in the UAE.
  • Support to coordinate hiring status tracking, benefit alignment, and payroll categorization, while also supporting internal and external audit requirements, quarterly allocations, and monthly reporting activities. The position is essential to maintain accurate, transparent, and compliant reporting standards

Detailed Responsibilities Include:


Support labor hiring reviews for both E33 and BF projects

Assist in managing the information tracker for special projects

Ensure monthly and quarterly benefit booking alignment

Contribute to quarterly engineering allocations

Assist in reviewing and maintaining existing Dubai business operations

Update the monthly spend and milestone status presentation

Track and report hiring status updates (officially started, offer created)

Support payroll alignment, including NetSuite categorization and ledger mapping

Assist in the creation and maintenance of related policies and FAQs

Coordination during the certification audits and support audit management

Support US GAAP reporting requirements related for submission to the Authority.

Ancillary Tax Support (Direct & Indirect Tax of GCC countries):

  • Support the Tax Lead based in Dubai for managing all direct & indirect tax advisory matters, implementing tax strategies, and ensuring ongoing tax compliance across the ME region.
  • Support to ensure compliance with corporate income tax and withholding tax regulations, mitigating tax risks and preventing adverse tax impacts on the business in the ME region.

Detailed Responsibilities Include:


Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure tax compliance across business operations

Provide support for corporate income tax (CIT) advisory matters in the ME region, including technical research and analysis

Assist in managing Tax audits over 16 legal entities in the region

Support direct tax strategy and structuring initiatives in the ME region

Assist with applications for tax rulings, exception certificates, and withholding tax exemptions in the ME region

Support the management of withholding tax refund applications across 4+ legal entities

Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax provisions under IFRS and local GAAP

Assist with applications for tax rulings, exception certificates and exemption certificates

Participate in tax technology initiatives, including E-Invoicing, SAP implementation, centralization projects

Qualifications:

CA / CMA/ MBA finance (0-2 year of Exp), CA Inter /M.Com : 2+ Years of Exp in Financial & Regulatory Reporting.

Skills:

Candidate must have good English Communication Skills & MS office Skills.
