If you're looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you're in the right place. **About you and this role** As an Associate Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost accounting services and financial reporting support to stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing cost accounting activities, supporting month-end close processes, maintaining cost center accounting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and cost audit requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive process excellence, support business decision-making, and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a global environment. **Responsibilities** + Support month-end closing activities, including generating, reviewing, and analyzing global cost accounting reports. + Manage product cost estimates (PCE) and provide insights on cost performance and variances. + Oversee supply chain cost accounting activities, including cost center accounting, budgeting, and financial reviews. + Support MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) accounting processes and statutory and cost audit requirements within the assigned region. + Coordinate inventory stock take activities, cycle counting reviews, reconciliation processes, and annual budgeting exercises. + Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, documentation updates, and participation in finance transformation projects, including Robotics Process Automation (RPA). **Qualifications** + Qualified CA/CMA with a minimum of 2 years of relevant cost accounting or costing experience. + Inter CA, Inter CMA, or MBA with 5+ years of costing and accounting experience. + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or a related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience in costing and accounting. + Experience supporting month-end close, cost analysis, inventory accounting, and financial reporting processes. + Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or cost accounting environments is preferred. **Your Skills** + Strong customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality support. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory accounting, cost center management, and financial controls. + Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and related business tools. + Experience with reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI, automation tools, and enterprise reporting systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities. + Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. + Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
