Assoc Performance Engineer

What youll do

You will support the performance testing efforts for our next generation learning platform and contentsolutions, working with modern technologies and tools. Thisrole provides exposure to the full performance testing lifecycle , from understanding performance requirements and designing test scenarios to executing load tests, analyzing results, identifying bottlenecks, and supporting performance tuning. You'll gain experience with tools like Gatling, JMeter, or similar, work with monitoring platforms like Datadog, and contribute to automation and observability initiatives across services and APIs.

Specifically

• You will work collaboratively within a cross-functional, agile development team as part of the Performance Test Engineering function.
• You will contribute to delivering high-quality software by designing and executing
• Performance test scenarios, documenting performance test strategies, and reporting issues related to system performance and scalability.
• You will support performance testing efforts by integrating performance testsuitesinto the
• CI/CD pipeline for efficient and continuous validation.
• You will provide ongoing support for performance testing activities, analyze test execution results, investigate performance bottlenecks, and log defects or improvementstoriesin Jira.
• You will gain hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and project
• tracking tools, while developing a strong understanding of performance engineering practices within a modern development environment.

Skills you will require

• 1 to 2.5 years of experience as a Performance Tester.
• Good understanding of OOO concepts, Data Structure and Algorithms
• Knowledge of any programming language like Java, JavaScript, Python
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman
• Knowledge of any performance testing tool like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling etc.
• Knowledge of any monitoring tool like Splunk, Datadog, Graphana is a Plus
• Knowledge of SQL, Unix is a plus
• Knowledge of/Experience using any Testing Frameworks is a Plus
• Some knowledge of Agile teams and methodologies
• An understanding of the software development lifecycle and tools including Source
