Market Development Manager, INSA, Genomics

The responsibilities are not limited to what is outlined in this document, and you are required to show ownership, accountability, passion, trust, integrity and greater engagement to bring value to the organization.

Major Tasks

  • Achieve revenue objectives and key performance indicators and goals relevant to the position.
  • Drive clinical NGS demand generation and clinician/pathologist engagement activities to adopt or increase NGS testing uptake e.g. presentations at seminars/congresses and hosting advisory boards and user group meetings.
  • Drive non clinical NGS demand generation and customer engagement activities to adopt or increase portfolio uptake by but not limited to activities eg, presentations, demonstrations, scientific projects initiation, market development projects, guidelines development etc
  • Support medical/scientific-related sales tools such as publications, articles, newsletters, application note, customer success story etc
  • Monitoring the scientific literature for new developments, gather market intelligence and assimilate up-to-date market information to formulate sales strategies, training and tools for the sales and marketing team and distributors/Commercial Partners.
  • Work with global, regional and country teams to align on strategies and execution.
  • Establish and maintain close relationship with Key Opinion Leaders and key Medical associations.
  • Collaboration with regional marketing for relevant content creation.

Position Requirements

  • Degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, Medical Science or related studies. Candidates with a PhD or MSc preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience with NGS products.
  • Good understanding of the Clinical/Diagnostics/Life Science market in the region.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel 80%.

Personal Requirements

  • Should have strong analytical, problem solving & customer management skills
  • Should be willing to learn and pick up information on one own initiative, self-motivated, quick learner and also willing to dissipate and share knowledge
  • Self-organized and motivated with the ability to work independently while under guidance from manager.
  • Excellent listening, presentation and communication skills at all business levels in both local language and English.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a structured working environment
  • Willingness to travel for more than 80%.
