Role Description The Assistant Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Anand, responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmaceutical warehouse. This role includes supervising receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company procedures and regulatory standards. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock rotation, support periodic stock audits, and help maintain proper labeling, segregation, and handling of materials. The role involves collaborating with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability and efficient workflow. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will also support workforce scheduling, oversee safe equipment operation, and contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse processes and safety practices.
Qualifications
  • Strong stock control and inventory control skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and support regular stock checks.
  • Hands-on experience in inventory management and day-to-day warehouse operations management in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation or other material handling equipment, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse systems or ERP tools, documentation practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate a warehouse team, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with cross-functional departments.
  • Understanding of GMP/GDP or similar quality and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical warehousing is an advantage.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in warehouse operations.
