Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Video Editor role based in Hyderabad. The Assistant Video Editor will support the creation of high-quality video content that communicates fertility education, patient stories, and brand messaging across digital channels. Daily responsibilities include organizing and managing raw footage, editing videos for various formats and platforms, applying basic color correction, and ensuring consistent visual style. The role also involves collaborating with the marketing and medical teams to understand content objectives, adding simple motion graphics or text overlays, and preparing final exports optimized for web and social media. The Assistant Video Editor will maintain file organization, follow brand guidelines, and assist in occasional on-site video shoots as needed.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundational skills in video production and familiarity with the end-to-end video creation process.
  • Proficiency in video editing, including cutting, sequencing, and adding basic transitions and audio adjustments.
  • Experience with video color grading and color correction to maintain a consistent and professional look.
  • Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and basic graphics to enhance storytelling and branding.
  • Comfort with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
  • Good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a clinical environment.
  • Organizational skills for managing multiple projects, media assets, and deadlines.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, education, or social media content creation is an advantage but not required.
  • Relevant coursework, certification, or a degree in film, media, communication, or a related field is preferred.
