Assistant Vice President - Vendor Management
Position Summary
Own the end-to-end vendor development engine for Resonia across the transmission project value chainbuilding a stronger and broader ecosystem of EPCs and specialist partners (survey, civil, erection/stringing, substations, logistics, ROW support, testing & commissioning) to improve delivery reliability, safety, quality, and cost competitiveness. Lead capability uplift of tier-3 / mid-sized EPCs and vendors toward tier-1 standards (e.g., process maturity, working-capital discipline, QHSE, delivery governance), while driving strategic partnerships, vendor negotiations, and a performance-led vendor management system that supports Resonia's growth ambitions.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Vendor Ecosystem Expansion & Segmentation: Build a larger, differentiated pool of qualified EPCs and specialist vendors by work-package, geography, and complexity tier to reduce concentration risk and improve competitiveness
- Capability Uplift to Tier-1 Standards: Institutionalize a structured vendor development program to upgrade processes, planning discipline, site governance, and QHSE performance for targeted vendors/EPCs
- Commercial & Working-Capital Enablement: Strengthen vendor financial resilience through improved contracting constructs, milestone structures, payment discipline, and ecosystem partnerships (e.g., vendor financing / credit facilitation) while protecting Resonia's cash and risk position
- Quality, Safety & Delivery Assurance: Embed consistent operating discipline across partner ecosystemaudits, leading indicators, training, and corrective-action mechanisms to reduce rework, incidents, and schedule slippages
- Partnering & Negotiation Leadership: Lead Resonia-side negotiations for vendor development engagements, capability-linked performance terms, and partnership models to scale delivery without compromising governance
