Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Assistant Vice President - Technology. This role is integral to our department's success, as it involves overseeing and driving technology projects, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Oracle Banking Trade Finance application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Trade Finance and a proven track record in managing technology solutions.

  • Lead and manage a team of technology professionals, ensuring efficient issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with GTB Product Owners and Business Analysts to address customer complaints and provide timely solutions.
  • Analyze system issues, participate in root cause analysis, and prioritize issues for resolution.
  • Perform deployments, measure impacts, and coordinate with vendors for defect resolution.
  • Support all testing phases, including SIT, regressions, and performance tuning, ensuring a robust and stable system.
  • Conduct impact assessments for change requests and facilitate production deployments.
  • Manage and track system performance, participating in process optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure technology projects adhere to ISG, technology architecture, and hardware sizing standards, meeting all audit controls.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and provide innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Oracle Banking Trade Finance application with extensive Trade Finance domain knowledge.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a technology role.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of successful issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in system analysis, root cause analysis, and decision-making for issue prioritization.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams, with a focus on customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
  • Strong project management skills, including deployment planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and the ability to support all testing phases.
  • Understanding of technology architecture, hardware sizing, and audit controls.
  • Ability to stay updated with industry trends and provide innovative technology solutions.
