We are seeking a dynamic and visionary AVP - Business Development to lead FinLender's strategic growth initiatives and reinforce our leadership position in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will drive business expansion, foster client relationships, and ensure operational excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and monitor long-term business strategies aligned with FinLender's vision and mission.
- Identify market opportunities to expand services in Debt Syndication, Private Credit, Private Equity, Debt Resolution, Investment Banking (Pre-IPO Advisory, IPO Advisory, M&A) and vital Financing Solutions.
- Represent FinLender at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to establish thought leadership and expand the company's market presence.
- Develop strategies to penetrate new geographies and strengthen FinLender's footprint across India and beyond.
- Analyse industry trends and competitive dynamics to position FinLender as the go-to financial advisory and investment banking institution in India.
- Drive business growth, profitability, and market share expansion.
- Oversee revenue generation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
- Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) account for the department, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including Corporates, MSMEs, and Startups.
- Streamline processes to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their financial and strategic needs.
- Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional service.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of professionals across diverse functional areas

- Oversee the planning and execution of client acquisition and retention strategies.
- Ensure all business operations comply with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
- Establish risk management protocols to safeguard the organization's interests.
- You are required to support the Company in hiring needs where you are responsible to build a strong team as and when required.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in financial services, investment banking, or related industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- MBA, CA, CFA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, or Economics.
- Proven expertise in fundraising, financial restructuring, investment planning, and debt resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business transformation.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data, market trends, and business opportunities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A proactive approach with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
