Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Retail - Applied Advisory Associate Director

At Genpact, we blend strategy consulting rigor with advanced analytics, AI, and design-led problem solving to drive enterprise-wide transformation. This role is ideal for a leader who can marry strategic thinking with hands-on analytics, translating ambiguous business challenges into structured problem statements, data-backed insights, and board-level recommendations. You will operate with high autonomy, often owning workstreams end-to-end while influencing senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Advisory, Analytics & Domain Innovation
.Lead consulting-style problem solving using a hypothesis-driven approach, structuring ambiguous business problems and designing analytical frameworks to validate or refine those hypotheses.
.Own end-to-end delivery of analytics and advisory engagements - from initial scoping and decomposition of the problem, through data analysis, insight generation, and final strategic recommendations.
.Conduct deep-dive analyses on large and complex datasets to identify value levers, quantify impact, and generate a compelling narrative that informs client decision-making.
.Synthesize analytical findings into executive-level storylines, using structured communication, data storytelling, and strategic framing to influence senior stakeholders.
.Build AI-enabled and domain-led transformation strategies (e.g., predictive supply chain models, AI-driven financial forecasting, intelligent risk frameworks), ensuring alignment with client business objectives and industry standards.
.Apply strategic frameworks, benchmarking, and scenario modeling to drive innovative solutions and shape Genpact's AI-first advisory offerings.
.Embed industry best practices, regulatory considerations, and analytical rigor into transformation programs to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Client Leadership & Industry Impact
.Operate as a trusted advisor to client leadership, using a consulting mindset to translate analytics into strategic implications, competitive advantage, and long-term transformation roadmaps.
.Drive executive conversations by connecting insights to market trends, industry shifts, and enterprise strategy - ensuring recommendations resonate at the senior leadership level.
.Lead client workshops, hypothesis-alignment sessions, and executive readouts that emphasize structured thinking, insight prioritization, and strategic clarity.
.Strengthen long-term client relationships by consistently delivering high-impact, insight-driven, and strategically sound advisory outputs that accelerate enterprise transformation.

Independent Ownership & Project Leadership (End-to-End Consulting Workstream Ownership)
.Take full ownership of workstreams or entire projects, functioning as a strong individual contributor capable of running discovery, analytics, synthesis, and executive presentations with limited oversight.
.Manage the full lifecycle of engagements including scoping, analytical approach design, stakeholder alignment, delivery planning, and execution - akin to owning a consulting module or workstream.
.Develop strategic models, dashboards, or analytical prototypes that support decision-making and quantify the impact of recommended actions.
.Mentor junior team members in consulting toolkits: problem structuring, analysis planning, data interpretation, insight generation, and client storytelling.
.Ensure quality, rigor, and senior-ready communication across all deliverables, embodying the standards of top-tier consulting.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications

.Significant consulting or advisory experience with a proven track record leading data-driven digital, AI, or GenAI transformation initiatives for enterprise clients, including end to end workstream ownership and delivery management.

.Deep domain expertise in at least one key area (e.g., supply chain, finance, operations, CX), supported by working knowledge of adjacent domains and broad consulting exposure across enterprise transformation, cost optimization, and digital strategy.
.Robust analytics and technology fluency, including experience working with large datasets, interpreting insights, and applying advanced technology, data platforms, automation, or GenAI solutions to real business problems.
.Proven problem-solving capability using hypothesis driven thinking, structured analysis, and a logical, outcome oriented approach.
.Strong project and stakeholder management skills, including experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
