Job Title: Associate Vice President Technical Program Manager

Location: Bangalore

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of GCP-based programs, including cloud migration, data engineering, application modernization, and AI/ML initiatives.
  • Own program planning, execution, timeline management, and delivery governance across multiple distributed teams.
  • Monitor scope, milestones, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and budget adherence for all cloud transformation projects.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, RAID logs, executive dashboards, and delivery scorecards.

Technical Project Management

  • Understand and translate GCP architecture, Cloud Run/Functions, GKE, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and cloud security requirements into actionable project plans.
  • Drive technical discussions with architects, engineers, and cloud SMEs to ensure solution alignment with business and technology standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans across Agile/Scrum teams.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior business stakeholders, cloud architects, engineering leads, and client leadership.
  • Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.
  • Present program updates, risks, and mitigation strategies to executive sponsors and governance committees.

Cloud Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all GCP solutions follow enterprise cloud governance, security controls, IAM policies, FinOps guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
  • Work with cloud CoE teams to enforce best practices for cloud-native design, reliability engineering, and performance optimization.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, QA, DevOps, data, architecture, and product.
  • Provide direction, remove blockers, and enable teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
  • Mentor and guide team members to improve delivery maturity, Agile adoption, and technical execution.

Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement across Agile delivery, sprint planning, automation, cloud operations, quality assurance, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline delivery processes, reduce cycle time, and enhance predictability.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical project or program management for cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud-native architectures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale multi-team programs in Agile environments.
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Agile, SAFe, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Cloud Digital Leader certification (highly preferred).
  • Experience managing cloud migration, data modernization, or AI/ML model deployment programs on GCP.
  • Background in Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Solution Architecture.
  • Strong communication, executive reporting, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Build, Terraform, SRE principles, and cloud governance frameworks.
