D Key Result Areas
- Develop, monitor, and manage the IT department's annual budget, including operating expenses, capital expenditures, and forecasting.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for optimization within the IT budget.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for IT leadership and senior management to facilitate decision-making.
- Develop, hone and execute new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing.
- Evaluate and optimize our operations by automating Procurement process
- Delegate tasks and supervise the work of purchasing and procurement agents across all verticals within IT
- Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency
- Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity
- Vendor Management - Coordinating with vendors to ensure excellent service to IT Stakeholders
- Drive strategy around Vendor Consolidation & improving vendor performance
- Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks
- Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
- Excel in conflict resolution as it arises and proactively guide the team to handle such occurrences
- Lay an emphasis on continuous learning through scheduled lunch and learns, workshops
- Act as a central point of contact to drive cross Teams coordination across multiple Vendors and technology functions
- Keep a pulse on industry trends and best practices concerning managing vendor partners
