Role Description
Disha Capital is seeking an Assistant Vice President Human Resources to oversee and lead various HR operations. This full-time, on-site role, based in Bengaluru, involves managing HR policies, fostering positive employee relations, and overseeing employee benefits programs. The AVP will also oversee the implementation and optimization of HRIS, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and contribute to strategic workforce planning. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing policies, providing guidance to management, and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibility
- Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute the HR strategy that supports the organization's long-term objectives and business growth.
- Talent Management: Lead recruitment efforts for senior and critical talent, ensuring the company attracts and retains top-tier candidates. Build talent pipelines and oversee succession planning initiatives.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution to ensure a positive and compliant work environment. Promote a healthy organizational culture.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including annual reviews, feedback, and coaching for leadership teams and employees.
- Compensation & Benefits: Design competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees. Ensure that the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation.
- Learning & Development: Lead employee training programs to develop the workforce's skills and leadership potential. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Compliance & Legal: Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with labor laws and regulations. Advise leadership on HR-related legal matters and risks.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure the workplace reflects a diverse talent pool and is welcoming to all employees.
- HR Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs, employee engagement, retention, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- HR Technology: Oversee the implementation and optimization of HR technology systems (e.g., HRIS, talent management software) to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Human Resources (HR), including recruitment, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Strong experience in managing Employee Relations and fostering a supportive workplace environment.
- Proficiency in administering Employee Benefits programs to cater to employee welfare.
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and ability to oversee and implement HR technology solutions.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
