Job Brief:

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President - HR Operations to shape how every Drongan experiences Raphe as we grow from 900 to 1,900 + people in a year. You will design benefits people genuinely value, build a workplace where everyone feels safe to speak up, and lay the compliance foundation that lets us scale with confidence. Reporting to the VP of HR Operations, you will lead a team of specialists and use data to show what is working.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience curating and managing employee benefits such as group health insurance, food, transport, and statutory benefits such as EPF, ESI and gratuity.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn benefits and case data into insights.
  • Experience with HRIS and case-management tools.
  • Team leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop others.
  • Experience in employee relations, including grievance handling and investigations.
  • Ability to investigate and mediate neutrally and with complete discretion.
  • Hands-on experience running POSH inquiries, with strong knowledge of the POSH Act, 2013 and India's Labour Codes.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, audits and statutory records.
  • Builds off of a philosophy of psychological safety in team dynamics.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in aerospace, manufacturing, defence, or a related high-tech industry is a plus.
  • POSH Internal Committee certification.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, CIPD Level 7, CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) or a People Analytics certification are a plus.

As Assistant Vice President - HR Operations, you will:

  • Own all employee benefits programmes at Raphe and ensure every Drongan receives them.
  • Shape benefits Drongans genuinely value as we grow from 900 to 1,900 in a year.
  • Measure how well our benefits work and optimise their impact.
  • Share meaningful insights with leadership, such as benefits effectiveness and usage, and grievance trends and their root causes.
  • Build a culture where every Drongan feels safe to raise concerns and trusts the process.
  • Lead and develop a team of benefits and compliance specialists.
  • Manage health insurance, critical-care cover and statutory benefits, including enrolment for new joiners.
  • Be the first point of contact when a Drongan wants to appeal a conduct issue or disagrees with their performance review and help resolve it fairly.
  • Manage the grievance process for all Drongans, from fair investigation to closure within the SLAs.
  • Lead the POSH framework, including policy, Internal Committee, training and annual reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory registers and inspections.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
