Job Summar:

We are looking for a senior commercial leader / rainmaker to aggressively drive revenue, profitability,

and market share in Ocean Freight Forwarding. This role carries complete ownership of P&L, sales

performance, pricing strategy, and key accounts for the station. The person should have experience in

Ocean- free hand local business along with good reputation and relationships with the shipping lines in

Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Growth

Own station P&L, revenue targets, margins, and growth strategy.

Drive aggressive sales growth through new customer acquisition and wallet share expansion.

Lead from the front with joint sales calls, negotiations, and key account closures.

Monitor daily inquiries, pipeline, conversion ratios, and sales productivity.

Identify high-potential trade lanes, verticals, and strategic customers.

Pricing & Carrier Management

Own pricing strategy to win business while protecting margins, solutions provider to the Team.

Leverage strong carrier relationships to secure competitive rates and space.

Work closely with pricing teams to improve speed, accuracy, and conversion.

Handle complex and high-value pricing negotiations personally.

Customer, Operations & Recovery

Manage key accounts and ensure high customer retention and growth.

Drive quick resolution of escalations and service issues.

Ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational execution.

Control billing accuracy, credit exposure, and outstanding recovery.

Team Leadership

Hire, build, and lead a high-performing sales team.

Set aggressive targets and enforce performance accountability.

Coach and mentor sales teams to consistently exceed targets.

Drive a strong performance-linked and result-oriented culture.

Candidate Profile

18+ years of experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding (mandatory).

Proven track record in driving large-scale revenue and profitability.

Strong personal customer base and carrier relationships.

Hands-on leader with excellent negotiation and closure skills.

Experience managing P&L, pricing, and high-performing sales teams.
