Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, FP&A!
In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for spearheading the financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-support functions for a global Consumer Goods giant. Operating within a high-growth delivery model, the incumbent will manage a massive scale of 200+ finance professionals. The role demands a blend of traditional financial stewardship, deep CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) domain expertise, and a Digital, AI-First mindset to automate and transform legacy client processes.
Responsibilities
.Serve as a strategic partner to the Client CFO and Business Unit heads, providing actionable insights to drive top-line growth and margin expansion.
.Lead analysis on Trade Promotion Management (TPM), SKU rationalization, Net Revenue Management (NRM), and supply chain cost-to-serve models.
.Manage complex, multi-geography stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment between BPO delivery and the client's corporate strategy.
.Overhaul manual reporting by implementing AI-driven predictive forecasting and real-time dashboards (e.g., HighRadius, Anaplan, or BlackLine).
.Transition the team from data preparers to insight generators by leveraging Big Data analytics and visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau).
.Standardize FP&A processes across the 200-member team to eliminate redundancies and improve Speed to Insight.
.Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR), Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
.Manage a multi-tier hierarchy of 200+ staff. Focus on talent retention, succession planning, and upskilling the workforce in data science and FinTech tools.
.Manage the commercial health of the BPO contract, including resource utilization, budget management, and productivity-linked SLAs.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.CA, CPA, CIMA, or MBA Finance
.Experience in Finance, with senior leadership role managing large teams (100+ members).
.Experience in FMCG/Consumer Goods is highly preferred.
.Hands-on experience with EPM tools (Hyperion, OneStream, Anaplan) and ERPs (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle etc).
.Knowledge of Agentic AI, SQL, Python, or R for financial modeling is a significant advantage.
.Deep understanding of IFRS/US GAAP and SOX compliance.
