Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Associate Principal, Advisory Risk R&D POD Lead
The Advisory Risk R&D POD Leader is responsible for designing, developing, and maturing Risk Advisory offerings that align with enterprise priorities. This role leads a focused Risk POD within the Advisory R&D structure to generate market insights, convert them into differentiated offerings, and ensure successful validation through POCs/POVs.
Responsibilities
1. Offering Strategy & Roadmap
Recommend the Risk Advisory offering strategy, ensuring alignment with overall Advisory offering priorities and R&D frameworks.
Translate market, regulatory, and technology trends into actionable offering concepts and structured development roadmaps.
Drive prioritization of Risk offerings with a strong bias toward advisory value creation over product development.
2. Research, Insights & Market Intelligence
Conduct deep research on emerging Risk trends, competitor activity, and advanced Risk technologies to fuel new offering opportunities.
Leverage access to platforms (e.g., Gartner, IDC) and internal data signals to shape evidence-based offering direction.
Create and publish a monthly Demand and Market Scan highlighting how the industry is evolving, key market developments, and our forwardlooking vision for Advisory Risk.
3. Offering Development & Iteration
Lead the design, development, and refinement of Risk Advisory offerings-ensuring each concept is iteratively improved through feedback from Risk Advisory leaders, Solutions teams, and domain SMEs.
Refresh and mature existing offerings while identifying obsolete ones for sunset.
4. Validation Through POCs & POVs
Plan and execute POCs/POVs with clients or internal environments to validate feasibility, relevance, and value realization of the offerings.
Analyze results and make data-backed recommendations for scaling or pivoting offerings.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner closely with Risk Advisory Leadership , Industry Advisory teams, Growth Ops, and Ent Sales to ensure offerings are market-ready and integrated into client pursuits.
Act as the Risk innovation steward within the broader Advisory R&D ecosystem.
6. Portfolio Governance & Performance Tracking
Track performance of pilots, offering adoption, pipeline impact, and booking influence publish dashboards for leadership visibility.
Ensure disciplined budget utilization across people, innovation initiatives, and tools/information subscriptions (e.g., research platforms).
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Strong Risk domain expertise (Enterprise Risk Consultant, or similar).
Proven experience in offering development, solutioning, consulting, or transformation programs, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Ability to synthesize market insights into practical, scalable offerings.
