Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and career-driven Assistant Trainer for a critical 6-month, (in person during office hours) to support our Management Trainee Program. This role offers an exceptional entry point for individuals seeking to transition into or gain extensive experience within the wealth management and corporate training sectors.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in building the foundational sales and financial communication skills of our new management cohort by leading high-volume assessment and coaching activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Foundational Coaching & Skill Assessment

  • Conduct Practice Sessions: Lead structured, high-volume practice sessions (role-plays and simulations) focusing on financial terminology, clear articulation, and client communication standards.
  • Initial Performance Checks: Evaluate trainees on their ability to apply core training concepts in simulated client interactions during the foundational phase of the program.
  • Performance Categorization: Execute a standardized Performance Categorization Process to sort trainees into readiness tiers (High, Moderate, Needs Intensive Support) at critical program milestones, ensuring a seamless handoff.

2. Feedback Delivery & Remediation

  • Provide immediate, high-quality, constructive feedback to trainees following practice sessions, emphasizing basic mechanics and structural improvements.
  • Design and implement tailored remedial measures (e.g., focused exercises, targeted practice) for trainees in the Moderate tier to quickly close foundational skill gaps.
  • Monitor the progress of trainees requiring intensive support, preparing them for elevation to the Senior Coaching Staff.

3. Program Administration & Data Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of trainee performance, coaching notes, and assessment scores.
  • Collaborate with Senior Coaches to ensure consistency in performance metrics and successful trainee transition to advanced training phases.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience

  • Mandatory:Completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree. (Must not be currently enrolled in a full-time program).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of finance, economics, or investment principles - especially with respect to Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs.
  • Proven professional experience (0-3 years) in a role requiring high-level communication, presentation, or client interaction.
  • Demonstrated interest in pivoting to or establishing a career in Wealth Management or Corporate Learning & Development.
  • Exceptional coaching and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and communicate performance deficiencies effectively.
  • Highly detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing high-volume assessment tasks under strict timelines.
