Job Description – Assistant Traffic Manager (Vehicle Placement)

About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented professional to manage vehicle placement operations, ensuring timely availability of vehicles and smooth logistics execution.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Arrange vehicles as per daily indent/requirement from operations team
- Coordinate with transporters/ Fleet vendors for timely placement
- Ensure cost-effective vehicle sourcing and rate negotiation
- Ensure on-time vehicle reporting and dispatch
- Maintain real-time tracking and updates of vehicle movement
- Handle escalations related to vehicle delays or shortages
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and client requirements
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- On-time vehicle placement
- Cost control vs approved budget
- Vendor responsiveness
- Dispatch adherence ratio
- Issue resolution time
Eligibility Criteria
- 10+2 or above
- 5+ years of experience in transport operations
Skills Required
- Strong vendor management & negotiation
- Good knowledge of transport routes
- Communication and coordination ability
