Role Description The Assistant to Vice President is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This position supports the Vice President with daily administrative and executive tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing correspondence, presentations, and reports. The assistant handles phone calls and emails, screens inquiries, and ensures timely follow-up to internal and external stakeholders. The role involves maintaining organized records, handling clerical duties, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support project and operational activities. The ideal candidate will act as a reliable point of contact, uphold confidentiality, and help the Vice President stay informed, prepared, and focused on strategic responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage schedules, documentation, and day-to-day office operations.
  • Candidates should possess Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities to support high-level decision-making, prepare reports, and coordinate with leadership.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette skills to interact professionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Relevant experience in an executive support or office administration role, preferably in a technology or product-based company.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
  • Proficiency with office productivity software and collaboration tools (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets, and document editors).
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Completion of secondary education; a diploma or degree in business administration or a related field is an advantage.
