Job Summary

To drive revenue growth and foster long-term business success by identifying new opportunities, acquiring clients, and strengthening relationships with existing customers. The role bridges sales execution and strategic business growth initiatives, ensuring the organization achieves its financial and market expansion goals.

Roles & Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the customer base and achieve challenging revenues in given geographical region.
  • Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Market Research & Strategy:Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Technical Consultation:Work closely with customers to understand their automation requirements and provide suitable solutions.
  • Proposal & Negotiation:Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:Coordinate with engineering, product, and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting:Maintain sales records, track progress against targets, and report key metrics to senior management.
  • Participation in Industry Events:Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Identify and actively search for new prospects and market verticals across the territory.
  • Make effective approach and presentations to target clients.
  • Act responsibly for overall sales till the payment process.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's of Engineering in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Mining/ Electrical or MBA in Marketing from a reputed university or relevant field.
  • Should have a minimum 4-6 years of experience in the field / direct sales of industrial products/automation IT solutions/petroleum equipment/mining equipment / EPC Sales line.

Key Competencies:

  • Able to travel extensively without any restrictions in Mining, Steel, Cement, Construction / Infra, OilIndustries, to the assigned territory.
  • Ready to travel across the assigned territory for a minimum of 15 travelling in a month.
  • To be an active participant in marketing events, regional conference/s, and road shows.
