We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Assistant to support our Content Manager in the planning, creation, and distribution of engaging content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter who can manage multiple projects, has strong writing skills, and a foundational understanding of content marketing and SEO.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Content Production & Coordination:
- Assist in developing a content calendar and editorial plan.
- Research industry trends, keywords, and competitor content to generate new ideas.
- Draft, write, and edit content for blogs, articles, social media, email newsletters, and website pages.
- Proofread and edit for grammar, clarity, and consistency with brand voice.
- Curate and source images, videos, and other creative assets.
- Collaborate with designers and marketing team members for visual storytelling.
- Content Publishing & Management:
- Schedule and publish content via CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace).
- Optimize content for SEO including internal linking and keyword placement.
- Update and refresh existing content to maintain accuracy and relevance.
- Manage digital assets and organize files in shared repositories.
- Administrative & Analytical Support:
- Track content performance using Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Prepare performance reports and share recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with email and calendar management for the content team.
- Maintain project management boards (Trello, Asana, or similar).
- Social Media & Community Engagement:
- Draft engaging captions and posts for social platforms.
- Schedule and manage social media content calendars.
- Monitor comments and messages to foster audience engagement.
- Track relevant hashtags, trends, and user-generated content
