Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations & Facility Management
- Oversee end-to-end operations of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil services
- Ensure all technical services are operating efficiently, safely, and in a cost-effective manner
- Monitor preventive maintenance schedules, inspections, and downtime activities to ensure smooth facility operations
- Maintain compliance with all statutory, safety, and technical standards across the facility
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, supervise, and manage a technical services team of approximately 5 members
- Act as a coach and mentor to develop team capability and improve service delivery performance
- Conduct regular performance reviews, assessments, and provide continuous feedback
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with vendors and service partners to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Manage contract execution, monitor vendor performance, and ensure SLA compliance
- Build strong relationships with clients and act as the primary technical point of contact
- Address client queries and ensure expectations are consistently met
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the key liaison for all technical services-related communication with clients
- Ensure proactive engagement and responsiveness to client requirements
- Build trust through consistent service delivery and proactive problem-solving
Planning, Budgeting & Reporting
- Plan and manage technical services budgets and maintenance contracts
- Develop inventory planning and cost optimization strategies
- Conduct regular audits focused on cost savings, risk reduction, and operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on maintenance activities, system performance, and service delivery
Preventive Maintenance & Risk Management
- Ensure execution of preventive maintenance programs for all building systems
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Reduce workplace risks through regular inspections and system monitoring
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards
Energy & Continuous Improvement
- Implement energy efficiency programs and cost-saving initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement in facility operations and service delivery
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational enhancement
- Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance strategies
Operations Monitoring & Compliance
- Maintain and review maintenance logs, checklists, and operational records
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and technical regulations
- Monitor facility performance and ensure adherence to best practices
